The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great option if you're looking to buy a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the most highly-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can also learn your habits of cleaning and suggest automated schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the click of one button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that the entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without much difficulty. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the high price cost.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the structure of your home, and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. sweep and mop robot allows it to steer clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.
The only issue is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a major issue when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's tank for dust is also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even at the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the more powerful ones, generate very little noise, which allows you to work or watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.
What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app is adept at alerting you when something is in need of attention, like the clean water tank running low or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or combine actual rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. That's a handy feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different floor materials or if there's some clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors with the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. It comes with an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better and prevents it from falling on furniture or other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite big--it's over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds--the entire robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even if you are not at home. It also comes with more mopping options and a smart routing feature which allows it to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead just following a specific path.
The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots in this price range. It can create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It's also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the luxury category. This could mean it's more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving around the home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, which allow you to customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your house. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for households with pets or young children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops are efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as great at tackling sand on the floor or quaker oats on the carpet.
